Lead-Acid Batteries (CSIRO ActivFire®-listed)
The AusForce®, NT12 Series, valve-regulated sealed lead-acid 12 V batteries are available in capacities ranging from 4 to 250 AH. The special electrolyte retentive separators hold the acid and thus there is no free acid inside the battery; therefore the battery can be mounted in any position. The batteries do not require addition of water, and adopt technology allowing internal absorption of produced gas. There’s no corrosive gas and electrolyte involved, negating risks of damage to equipment and environmental pollution.
The AusForce®, NT12 Series, valve regulated sealed lead acid batteries have been evaluated and verified by CSIRO as conforming with the relevant requirements of the following criteria:
-
Technical Specification TS001, Version 1.1, 17-Jul-2006, 'Lead-acid batteries for control and indicating equipment, AS 4428.5-1998, clause 2.6'.
The AusForce® NT12 Series batteries are approved by CSIRO for use in fire control and indicating equipment and are listed at ActivFire® Register of Fire Protection Equipment (Certificate No afp-2549). Please see attached Certificate of Conformity
